Muck boots should fit snug. Use your athletic shoe as a guideline.

For half sizes, Muck Boots recommends going down to the next whole size.

If you wear a size 6.5 athletic shoe then you should comfortably wear a size 6 boot.

I bought these boots last winter as a Christmas gift to myself. I really liked the camo however it started wearing off within a few weeks of just light wear which kinda bumbed me out. They are by far one of the most comfortable and warmest boot I’ve ever owned! I love these boots however I was slightly disappointed today when I when out hunting and my feet froze at 40F.

Best. Purchase. Yet! Once cooler temps hit in fall/winter I pretty well live in these boots. I have these boots in both the tall and shorter heights and I have put them through the ringer! I have hiked tons of kms in these boots, shed hunting, whitetail hunting and even hiking it into work haha They are so warm and the stretch in them paired with the high/low top cut of the boot makes them so comfortable to wear all day without the typical boot rubbing across the shins that I’ve experienced from other boots. I didn’t get any blisters from wearing the boots/there was no break in period. I also love that they have a decent grip in the mud without collecting a ton of mud in the tread. The height is perfect when walking in swamps, or areas with lots of standing water and the boots never leak! I hunt in Canada when it gets super cold in the winter and they have been great when hiking, keeping my feet toasty warm. When I still hunt from a blind I just pop in heated insoles and I’m good to go. I ordered a size up from my normal size to allow an extra pair of socks in cold temps.

These Muck Boots are by far the best mucks I’ve ever owned. When I purchased my first Mucks back in 2009, there were not Muck Boots on the market specifically designed for women. I bought these boots in 2016, and they still have plenty of life left in them today (2019). I live in these boots during deer season, early turkey season, and when I am field goose hunting. Unlike the previous Woody Max unisex Muck Boots I owned, these boots are the perfect height. The top of the boot is higher in the front and shorter in the back. Why is that an amazing feature you may wonder? When I bend my knees, the top of the boot is the perfect height so that the boot doesn’t rub against the back of my knee. Another feature I love on these boots is the tread. The rugged tread makes these boots great in snow and on ice. Above all, these boots are great because they are made to keep your feet warm in extreme conditions. These boots are fleece lined and have 5mm flex foam, which is the thickest I have personally found in a women’s hunting boot. The removable padded insoles also allow me to remove the insoles and replace them with Thermacell insoles. I do this during extremely cold hunting conditions. The only recommendation I would make when wearing these boots is to choose your socks wisely. I don’t always wear thick wool socks, as these can actually cause your feet to overheat in the boots. If your feet overheat and sweat, they are bound to get cold! Let the boots do the work and choose a thinner moisture wicking sock to pair with these mucks.

I LIVE in these boots!! Best Muck boots I’ve ever had. If your choosing between the talls and shorter ones, go with these. If I need them shorter, I just roll them down but having the tall boots is awesome. The comfort is SO nice. They seem warm, dry and cozy. I am going to get another pair to have on hand when these wear out because I love them so much.

These boots were our best purchase! We use them all the time. From hunting out in the field for doves to checking trail cameras during deer season; these boots have been very reliable and practical.

Nice boot, stylish, comfortable, great in the mud but DEFINITELY NOT as warm as they state in the description. My feet get cold in anything below 30 degrees even with thick extreme weather socks. If you leave enough room to add heated insoles you’re survive.
I hunt year round in Wyoming & had high hopes for warm boots but still love them in the Wyoming mud.
