Today we would not only like to remember one of our own, taken too soon, but to also celebrate all of the Law Enforcement in the line of duty, fighting to keep us safe.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”29774″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

While filling in for a fellow officer on the night of November 19, 2002, Red Bluff police officer, Officer David Mobilio was ambushed and fatally shot. He was 31 years old, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. At the time I (Norissa Harman, Co-founder GWG Clothing), was a mere 24 years old. My part-time job was working in the cafe and daycare @tehamafamilyfitness center where I would watch Dave and Linda’s son while they worked out. He was a regular at our home Gym and had a heart of Gold. Typing this up to share this story brings so many tears and memories of that fatal day. Our town still grieves, the loss of this fallen Hero. ⠀

Did you know each year, between 140 and 160 officers are killed in the line of duty and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss. C.O.P.S. provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives. There is no membership fee to join C.O.P.S., for the price paid is already too high.⠀[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”29776″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]@concerns_of_police_survivors was organized in 1984 with 110 individual members. Today, C.O.P.S. membership is over 51,000 survivors. Survivors include spouses, children, parents, siblings, significant others, and co-workers of officers who have died in the line of duty according to Federal government criteria. ⠀
