By Teresa Lujan | Team GWG Prostaff

Ingredients:

1lb ground venison

1 onion (diced)

2 potatoes (cubed)

3 roma tomatoes (cubed)

2 8oz cans tomato sauce

1 bag fresh green beans (cut)

Salt, pepper, garlic

6 cups beef broth

Directions:

  1. Start by adding venison and onion to a large pot coated with oil. Brown over medium-high heat and season to taste.
  2. After the juices have almost entirely evaporated, add in the tomatoes, tomato sauce, potatoes, green beans, and broth. Add in any other vegetables or seasonings of your choice.
  3. Stir well, making sure everything is submerged in liquid, adding more if needed, and cover.
  4. Let boil for 15-20 minutes on medium-high heat or until the vegetables are tender. Serve in a large bowl and enjoy with your favorite crackers.

Note: You can add everything into a crockpot after finishing step 1 and cook on low for four hours.
